Well do you?

And I mean really listen…

In this crazy busy world in which we live, more often than not, me included, we don’t. We’re constantly rushing from A across to B, we’re looking after everyone and everything and we’re just not taking the time to stop, take a deep breath and listen.

Your body when you choose to listen to it has a lot to say..

It tells you…

..when you’re tired

..when you’re hungry

..when you’re thirsty

..when you’re itchy

..when you’re nervous

..when you’re horny

..when you’re sick

..when you’re angry

…when you’re sore

I could fill this page ten times over with what your body can tell you when you listen.

But what happens when you don’t choose to listen… because really it is your choice. The signals and signs are there for you.

Admittedly sometimes they’re only a whisper and at other times they’re a loud roar. But they are there.

So listen…

So this is just a reminder to honour the body that you have. If you hadn’t worked it out by now, it’s the only one you’re going to have and hopefully you’ll have it in it’s healthiest state for a very long time.

Remember this is not a dress rehearsal and you don’t have an understudy waiting for you in the wings to take over when you tire.

So it’s the beginning of an a new week, and you know I love to deliver Momentum on a Monday…why not make this week the first of many and one where you pay attention and really listen to what your body has to tell you.
