This is my first official post on my new site and I am excited about what is to come. I have been blogging about all things food, nutrition and weight loss here for the past three years and decided now is the time for a new look and a new approach to my business. Did I tell you I am excited?
Momentum on a Monday is my thing! Research has shown that Monday is the day of week when you’re motivated to eat well, move more and reach your health related goals. In fact 57% of us regard Monday as the day of fresh starts!
A recent study published in the American Journal of Preventative Medicine, found that google searches for all things health related peak early in the week then plunge by the end of the week. “These findings show that healthy thinking and behaviour is synced to the week, with Monday being the day we’re most likely to start healthy,” said Morgan Johnson, a co-author of the study. “This suggests that people see the new week much like a new beginning—a January 1st that happens every seven days.”
So let’s make Monday the day to refocus our health goals. I promise that I’ll deliver to you the most up to date nutritional and weight loss information that I can lay my hands on. I don’t believe in all the gimmicks that this industry is renowned for and I’m committed to bringing you the truth.
